Brecon and Radnorshire MP Roger Williams used Welsh Questions today to congratulate local firm BSW Timber in Newbridge-on-Wye on creating 20 new full time jobs in the area.
Speaking in the house, Roger asked the Secretary of State for Wales to join with him in welcoming this announcement.
Commenting, Mr Williams said:
"In times when public money is tight we need firms in the private sector to step up to the plate to create jobs and growth, that is exactly what BSW is doing.
"As a rural employer, BSW Timber has a critical role to play in maintaining local wealth and employment. They have shown over the past five years that the operation at Newbridge-on-Wye is going from strength to strength, thanks to a rolling programme of continued investment in plant, people and environmental improvements."
