Roger Williams, MP for Brecon and Radnorshire, last night rebelled on Government proposals to reform superannuation.
Speaking after the debate, Roger Williams said:
"I do not feel that the proposals put forward by the government have not been fully considered.
"Furthermore, the proposal to only debate the issue for three hours during committee stage is totally inadequate for such a serious issue.
"The Government needs to undertake further discussions with interested parties, such as the trade unions, to ensure that members of the public are not adversely affected by this Bill and I therefore voted against the programme motion in order to draw attention to my unease about the Bill."
