TORIES REVEAL TRUE COLOURS IN WELSH QUESTIONS - WILLIAMS

Commenting on Patrick Cormack's question on candy floss during Welsh Questions, Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Wales Roger Williams MP said:

"It is sad that some Tories have such little respect for Wales that they take up a rare opportunity to call the Welsh Secretary to account to make stupid jokes.

"We know from past experience that the Conservatives have always treated Wales with disdain, but it is astonishing that there are some Tory MPs who hold Welsh MPs in such disregard.

"If the Tories want to make unfunny jokes that's up to them, but this sort of behaviour shows exactly how Wales would be treated were we ever unlucky enough to have a Tory Government again."
