MP calls for North Radnorshire bus re-think

Speaking today on the news that Powys County Council has decided to remove the bus service from the villages of Dolley Green, Whitton and Llangunllo, Roger Williams Liberal Democrat MP for Brecon and Radnorshire said,

"When conducting my summer surgeries in Llangunnlo and Whitton I was alarmed by the news that the council have decided to remove these essential bus services. At nearly every household I called upon residents were alarmed by the news of the loss of their bus service. This is a very rural area and people rely heavily on public transport. I understand from speaking with residents in Llangunllo that their bus is normally full of passengers. This seems a ridiculous decision and I call upon the council to think again about this".
